The Business Challenge
Client Objectives: The client needed to increase user engagement and dashboard retention by modernizing a legacy system that struggled under massive data loads.
Identified Problems: The previous architecture faced severe bottlenecks resulting in slow front-end load times, poor mobile responsiveness, and a confusing interface flow that ultimately frustrated users and disrupted advertising campaign management.
The Strategic Solution
Technical Decisions: Rather than forcing a heavy, standalone Single Page Application (SPA) framework, I engineered a highly customized WordPress backbone. This provided the client with familiar, robust content management while keeping the frontend strictly vanilla to drastically reduce payload sizes and achieve near-instant execution.
Implementation Details: I stripped out all unused assets, meticulously designed a responsive SQL schema utilizing specific custom post types, and layered a seamless HTML/CSS user interface that gracefully handled external data.
